Role – Area Manager Roxburgh (Cheviot and Teviot & Liddesdale)

The Area Manager leads the staff of the Area Office. He or she is personally accountable to the Executive Officer (EO) for implementation of The Bridge policies and achievement of its strategic objectives and targets in the local area. While the post-holder is based in the Jedburgh office and will work mainly in Cheviot and Teviot & Liddesdale, she or he may be required from time to time to undertake work in other areas of the Borders within which The Bridge operates. We are a community development organisation and knowledge, and experience of community capacity building is essential. We support Borders communities and Third Sector organisations by providing capacity building support and practical help on a range of issues; Community Development is an important part of this role and working with voluntary/community organisations and groups along with statutory partners is vital.
