Asda has recently introduced several offers to support both individual older people and community groups this winter. These include soup, roll and unlimited tea/coffee for the over 60s for £1 in any of their cafes in November and December; the opportunity to apply for funding to help with running costs and for establishing “warm spaces”, and encouraging groups who may otherwise struggle to meet up to use one of their cafes as a venue, with unlimited supplies of tea/coffee available.
