Teviot Wheels receives a £1500 donation from Oregon

Jacqueline Chapman at Teviot Wheels is delighted to have received a donation of £1500.00 from Donald Graham, Commercial Manager, Oregon Division of Barratt Developments plc Charitable Foundation.

Teviot Wheels is a community transport service for residents of the Roxburgh area of the Scottish Borders. Our vehicles are based in Jedburgh, Hawick and Kelso and we offer accessible and affordable community transport for anyone who has difficulty using public transport through ill health, age or disability.

Trips can be for: hospital appointments/visits, transport to respite care, visits to family/friends, attending lunch clubs/get-togethers, outings, appointments etc.

We also run services in the Eildon area for Galashiels and Tweeddale area for Peebles.

We have a dedicated team of volunteer drivers who are at the heart of communities, bringing much needed transportation support to those that need it most.

If you think you could be a Community Transport Volunteer in any of our areas, please contact Jacqueline on 01835 863554.
