The cost-of-living crisis is having an impact on everyone in our communities. Thanks to a partnership between the Borders Third Sector Interface (TSI) and Live Borders, applications are now welcome from community groups and organisations based and operating in the Scottish Borders for support with their rise in energy costs. Additionally, help for children and young people with membership and other costs associated with joining a sports club is also available.

The closing date for applications for the support fund available to community groups and organisations is Friday, 28 April 2023, although this may be extended if the total fund of £50,000 is not fully allocated by then. The fund for sports clubs and membership to support children and young people accessing sport activities will remain open until the total fund of £36,000 has been allocated. This is to ensure the fund benefits as many children and young people across the Scottish Borders.
